Foot For Hope 2025: Connecting Businesses, Spreading Positive Values
Last weekend, with the mission of connecting businesses, the French Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Vietnam (CCIFV) successfully organized the annual Foot For Hope 2025 football tournament. The event was not only a sports playground for member businesses but also carried profound meaning by raising funds to support social organizations in Vietnam. This year, CCIFV chose Maison Chance, a charitable organization founded by Swiss national Tim Aline Rebeaud in southern Vietnam, as the beneficiary of the funds.
In Ho Chi Minh City, Foot For Hope 2025 attracted the participation of 18 CCIFV member businesses – French-related companies in Vietnam – including D.I, Image Travel, Green Yellow, Bel, Andros, CMA CGM, CEVA, Bureau Veritas, Petite École, Annam, Artelia, Vivablast, Sofitel, EDF Skyx, Sodexsport, Havas, Legrand, and Saigon Physio Sports. The day before, the event had also taken place in Hanoi with 20 businesses competing.
The Mansion Sports Stadium in District 2, with its modern facilities and excellent services, ensured the quality of the tournament. After thrilling matches, CEVA emerged victorious, defeating IMAGE Travel & Events in a tense penalty shootout to claim the championship.
In addition to the main awards, CCIFV presented several supplementary prizes to recognize outstanding individuals and teams, such as Best Player and Best Goalkeeper. The “Best Supporter” award went to IMAGE Travel & Events for their positive energy and impactful campaign, “Say No to Plastic Waste.” Throughout the tournament, the team promoted this initiative with eco-friendly hand fans and large insulated water bottles adorned with bold slogans.
Nguyen Quang Han, captain of IMAGE Travel’s team, shared: “The insulated water bottles we used are a new initiative that we plan to implement gradually on our 45-seat tourist buses to reduce the distribution of multiple small bottles daily to travelers.”
Mansion Sports, the tournament venue, is also a leader in waste segregation, recycling, and minimizing plastic waste, contributing to a greener, cleaner, and more civilized sports environment.
Through sports events like Foot For Hope, CCIFV not only strengthens the relationships between businesses but also creates opportunities for French companies to lead in social responsibility and sustainable development in Vietnam.
