Tour Plan

Arrival in Hanoi, reception by the local English-speaking tour guide and transfer to the hotel in the center of the city. (The rooms are available after 2:00 pm).

To start the trip, a rickshaw ride in the center of the city allows you to discover the main centers of interests of the Vietnamese capital: the neighborhood of the “36 corporations”, the quarter of the embassies, the surroundings of the lake …

Visit to the temple of Literature, built in the 1070, a symbol of the education in the country, that represents the traditional Vietnamese architecture.

Lunch in a local restaurant.

Walk in the surroundings of the Ba Dinh square. Pictures in front of the impressive Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, place of eternal rest of the greatest leader of the Vietnamese people. Visit the One Pillar pagoda, known for its original construction in teak, emerging from water.

Finish the day with a walk on the historic Long Bien bridge with the possibility of visiting a small banana plantation on the Red River banks  in the middle of the city. After the stroll, transfer back to your hotel.

Experience 1 (see price in the experience table at the end of the document): Walking tour in Hanoi old town with degustation of a local delicacy and a vietnamese cappuccino (with beaten sweetened yolks) or a local beer in a pavement bar.

Experience 2 (see price in the experience table at the end of the document):  At 10 o’clock at night, visit the Quang Ba flower market, the biggest in Hanoi. This market only opens its doors at night, to ensure the freshness of the flowers, it’s also one of the few places open during the night in a city where the curfew is well enforced.

Road to Ninh Binh, also known as the Halong Bay on land, because of its incredible landscapes. Along the route, you will see many villages and various sceneries.

Ride in a flat-bottomed rowing boat, on a small river surrounded by rice fields and karstic mountains, an exceptional natural landscape. 

Lunch in a local restaurant: Roasted goat and puffed rice, a local delicacy.

Walk through the plantations or bike ride in the nearby villages, meeting with the locals.

Visit the temples of Kings Dinh y Le in Hoa Lu, the ancestral capital of Vietnam, surrounded by a picturesque landscape.

In the afternoon, return by road to Hanoi, transfer to your hotel.

Road to Halong Bay through the Red River Delta.

Arrival in Halong, boarding in a traditional junk, where you will navigate through imposing mountains and about 3000 islands and islets emerging from the emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. 

Welcome drink and installation in your cabin.

The junks are a unique way to discover Halong Bay.  The cabins are equipped with AC, a private bathroom with shower, toilet, and hot water.

Lunch on board, and departure for a fantastic cruise in Halong Bay: undoubtedly one of the most beautiful landscapes in Asia.

Discover one of the most beautiful natural caves.

Small introduction to Vietnamese cuisine on board.

Dinner on board with specialties of the bay.

Night on the junk, an unforgettable memory.

To finish the day and if weather permits, a night fishing session of squid will be organized.

If weather permits, the sunrise is the best moment to photograph the Halong Bay and also for a Tai Chi lesson on the upper deck with nature.

Continuation of the cruise towards a floating village, discover a different way of life, fish farms, floating houses and community buildings. Each year more and more people move to land seeking for a better life but the culture and traditions are still strong among “the people of the sea”.

Early lunch on board as a "brunch".

Disembarkation and travel by road to Hanoi airport to board the flight to Hue.

After the flight, reception in Hue and transfer to the hotel in the city center).

Visit the city of Hue. Declared as UNESCO Historical Heritage since 1993, it offers to the visitors a lot of historic sites very well preserved. Visit the citadel, built in the architecture style "Vauban". Discovery of the Imperial city and of the majestic royal palaces, testimonies of the life of the last Vietnamese dynasty, the Nguyen.

Discovery of the magnificent temple of the Nguyen dynasty, to admire the altars of 10 emperors.

Visit to the Thien Mu pagoda that is known for its octagonal shape.Followed by a boat trip towards a small family restaurant on the Perfume River banks.

Lunch in a local restaurant.

After lunch, continue towards the peaceful Thuy Bieu village, well known as pomelo village.

Walking or bicycle tour in the village to discover the pomelo gardens, the communal houses, ....

Finish the day with the visit of the Ming Mang tomb, the most romantic of the royal tombs, on the way, stop in a small family factory specialized in conical hats and incense.

Start the day with the transfer by road to Ba Na Hills, where the famous Golden Bridge is located. Upon the arrival, you must take a cable car, with amazing views, to reach the photogenic bridge. Free time to discover the themed Ba Na Hills park.

After the visit, descent on the cable car and road to Hoi An.

In the afternoon, discover the ancient town of Hoi An: the Chuc Thanh Pagoda, 1454, the oldest in the city and with typical Vietnamese architecture. Visit an artisan center where we can see the traditional crafts of the city, visit the house of the Fujian Chinese community, discover the history and the architecture of a secular house in the old quarter. Walk through the 800 buildings of historical interest. Visit of the Japanese covered bridge, historical symbol of the city.

Morning at leisure to enjoy the city or shopping.

In the afternoon, transfer to Danang airport for your flight towards Can Tho, the biggest city in the Mekong Delta. Arrival in Can Tho and transfer to your hotel.

Experience 3 (see price in the experience table at the end of the document): Vietnamese Cooking Class - Departure for Tra Que, known as the”organic garden village”. Arrival and stroll in the garden to learn about the local aromatic herbs. Begin the cooking class, you will learn how to cook 4 delicacies of Central Vietnamese gastronomy. At the end of the class, lunch with the dishes you just prepared. To end you experience, enjoy a traditional foot massage

Early in the morning, boat ride to the Cai Rang floating market, the largest in the Delta, and its hundreds of boats selling fruits and other local products.

Return to the quays and visit the Can Tho local market, following the logical course of goods.

For lunch, cruise on the river towards a Khmer temple hidden in a village near Can Tho. Sail calmly on the river and enjoy a delicious lunch of local products from the area. Arrival to the Khmer temple, visit and walk in the village populated by the Khmer minority ethnic group (Cambodians).

Disembark and transfer by road to Ho Chi Minh. Along the way, visit a Cao Dai temple, discover a rich and interesting mixture of culture and traditions, a mixture of western and oriental ideas.

Arrival in Ho Chi Minh City and visit Chinatown, very commercial and known for its special atmosphere and for the great Binh Tay Market. Walk in the neighborhood with its numerous temples, Chinese shops and traditional medicine pharmacies where essential plants can be found. Finnish with the Thien Hau Temple, known for his ceramic statuettes.

Discovery on foot of the old  district, where there are colonial buildings. Photo stop in front of the Reunification Palace. Visit the central post office, designed by Gustave Eiffel’s workshop, followed by Notre Dame Cathedral, with red bricks, constructed in 1880. Walk on the ex-Catinat street to the City hall, the Opera House and the historic “Continental” hotel.

Flight to Siem Reap in Cambodia.

Arrival in Siem Reap, reception by the local English-speaking tour guide and transfer to the hotel in the center of the city. (The rooms are available after 2:00 pm).

Afternoon dedicated to the visit of Angkor Wat, the most famous and impressive temple of the site, its towers are the symbol of Cambodia.

Discovery in tuk-tuk of the Angkor Thom site by the southern gate, after the Naga bridge.

Continuation with Bayon, a temple famous for its towers with faces which reproduced the bodhisattva, but also for the fineness of its bas-reliefs. Bayon is one of the most noteworthy monuments of Angkor.

Visit the Terrace of Elephants, also called the royal terrace, where the king and his court attended the ceremonies.

The Terrace of the Leper King, its name comes from a statue which was on the terrace and which was named « leper king » in memory of the king Yasovarman 1 who built Angkor and died of leprosy.

In the afternoon, visit the Ta Prohm temple, a mixture of architecture and tropical nature, where the jungle took over the temple, with large trees growing between the buildings.

After, discovery of the Pre Rup temple, towards sunset.
