In the South, you will discover the colonial district and the historic buildings of Saigon, the exotic atmosphere of Cho Lon district. Then, immerge yourself in the daily life of the Mekong Delta’s inhabitants throughout its villages.
In the Centre, you will visit the charming old town of Hoi An and the imperial monuments of Hue. You will walk in beautiful villages known for their traditional handcraft.
In the North, Hanoi, Halong Bay and Ninh Binh (terrestrial Halong Bay) complemented by the small paths leading to locals and their villages along the way.
Relax at the beach, and enjoy the nice town of Quy Nhon, which is rarely visited by foreign travelers which makes it very authentic. You might visit the fishing villages near the city.

What will you do during your trip?
During the trip, you will have the opportunity to taste local delicacies, meals made by your Vietnamese hosts. You will attend a costume and musical dinner as well as a welcome dinner in Hanoi, a tai-chi lesson on the junk’s deck, and you will be initiated to Vietnamese cuisine. The specificity of this trip is that for three journeys you will travel by train which is a nice way to discover the country as you will cross different regions where you will witness the beautiful diversity of the landscape. It will be one of the most exciting and exotic experience.

Tour Plan

Departure at your own expenses to the airport of your choice. Check-in formalities and flight to Hanoi on regular flightDinner and night on board.
Arriving in Hanoi airports you will be welcomed by your English speaking guide and transfered to the city.Sightseeing around Ba Dinh square. Passing by The Ho Chi Minh mausoleum from outside and the one pillar Pagoda. Take a walk around the old district, take a look at the Opera and its colonial style, pass by the Ly Thai To park and the Hoan Kiem lake, the city’s landmark holding the Ngoc Son temple and the The Huc Bridge. This tour will end in a magnificent colonial style house where you will be enjoying a welcome dinner. Night at the hotel.
Heading to Ninh Binh, passing on a portion of the legendary track of Ho Chi Minh. Along the way, you  will see the various landscapes and the many typical villages spreaded all over the region. Stop in Van Long site, located in the karst area of ​​Ninh Binh, nicknamed “Halong Bay on Land” for its beauty and extraordinary landscape.Lunch during the excursion. Flat-bottomed boat ride on the river that veers through huge karstic rocks, intact nature. Bike ride and special encounter with the locals. Visit a traditional house. Dinner in a local restaurant. Night at the hotel.
Departure towards Ha Long and its world-famous bay. Boarding the junk to start your cruise.Seafood lunch while the junk sails between islands and islets. Explore the Cave Thien Canh Son, one of the most beautiful caves in the bay. Relaxation on the sandy beach of the island Hon Co.Back to the junk. Relaxing time to contemplate the sunset on the top deck. Seafood dinner on board. If you wish you can try yourself at squid fishing directly from the rear of the junk. Night on board.
Breakfast at dawn to observe the sunrise. We will navigate through the fishermens floating villages, where you will visit small schools, typical houses and health posts, this is an interesting way to discover the way of life of the population. Last lunch of delicacies from the bay on board. disembarking of the junk, we wil head back to Hanoi and stop along the way in the Dong Trieu village, well known for its ceramics. Dinner in a local restaurant. Transfer to the railway station where you will take the Night Train to Hue. Night on board (Tourist class, 4 berths / cabin)
Arrival to Hue railway station and transfer to a small hotel for breakfast and a shower.Later on a City tour of Hue which has been declared World heritage of the UNESCO. Visit of the citadel built in ‘Vauban’ architectural style following by the Imperial City, discover the magnificent temple of the Nguyen Dynasty and its stories. Road towards a local family restaurant on the river bank for lunch. On the way, we will stop at a manufacture of conical hats and incense sticks.Ride on a Dragon boat and follow the Perfume River, an excellent way to discover the life and the activities of the riverbed. We will disembark to visit the Pagoda of the Celestial Lady and the tomb of Tu Duc. Dinner in a local restaurant. Night at the hotel downtown.
Road to Hoi An through the astonishing “Pass of the ocean cloud”. Photos stop on the top of the pass to admire the view. Lunch in a restaurant in town.Walking tour in the ancient town of Hoi An: Chuc Thanh Pagoda, the Fujian  Chinese community house, charming colonial buildings. Walk among 800 buildings of historical interest. Stop the Japanese covered bridge, historic symbol of the city. Boat tour on the river to get in touch with the life on the river bank. Dinner in a local restaurant. Night at the hotel.
Road to Danang and its Cham museum holding a great collection of Cham sculptures and other artefacts. Lunch in a local restaurant.Boarding on a train towards Quy Nhon, soft seat AC seating class. Rather long journey (around 6 hours) but the train goes through some stunning sceneries, mix between the see on your left and mountains and fields on your right. The food vendors in the alleys and the friendly locals will really make this experience unforgettable.Arrival in Quy Nhon late afternoon and transfer to your hotel. Dinner in local restaurant. Night at the hotel.
Departure towards Eo Gio, coastal village not far from Quy Nhon. Along the way stop in a Tuong Phat Doi pagoda home of a giant golden Buddha statue in Vietnam.Walking around the village and on the beach to observe the fisherman activities. Seafood lunch in a local restaurant. Back to Quy Nhon and visit of a Cham temple not far from the city. Transfer back to you hotel. Dinner in a restaurant in town. Night at the hotel.
Day at leisure to enjoy the beach. Lunch at your expense. Late afternoon transfer to the train station for a sleeper train towards Ho Chi Minh.Dinner on the train. Night in the train, soft sleeper AC class (cabins 4 bunks).
Arrival early morning, transfer to a small hotel for a shower and breakfast.Walking tour around the old colonial district, where most the buildings from the colonial era are located.  Photo stop in front of the Reunification Palace. Visit of the central post office, designed by Gustave Eiffel’s workshop, followed by Notre Dame Cathedral, constructed in 1880. Early departure for a small cruise on the river: boating towards Cai Rang floating market. Hooking of a smaller boat selling fruits, tasting of fresh pineapple in an exotic atmosphere. Road back to Ho Chi Minh City, lunch at local restaurant. According to the flight schedule, transfer to airport. Assistance for registration formalities and flight to your city on a regular airline flight... Dinner and night on board.
