OUR SUSTAINABILITY PARTNERS
TRAVELIFE
Travelife, developed with the support of the European Commission, is today the leading international certification program for sustainability in the travel industry. Its standards cover the entire tourism supply chain — from environmental protection, biodiversity, and human rights to fair labour practices and responsible business management.
WAFORT Community
WAFORT (as known as We Act FOr Responsible Tourism) is a non-profit community founded that we founded in 2022. Its purpose is to promote and raise awareness of responsible tourism among travel companies, travelers, service partners, as well as tourism students and professionals.
The certification process is structured in three progressive stages:
1️ – Travelife Engaged – joining as an official member.
2 – Travelife Partner – obtaining the award after completing a verified self-assessment.
To be awarded, we have to complete more than 100 criteria, covering sustainability management, office operations, supplier relations, and customer communication
3️ – Travelife Certified – the highest level, granted after an independent third-party audit.
This stage requires a self-asessment with more than 250 criteria and an audit by Travelife on site.

At Image Travel & Events, we have successfully entered the second stage, achieving the Travelife Partner title for the fourth time since 2017. We are now aiming to achieve the Travelife Certified title in the next stage.

THE IMA GREEN PROJECT
IMA Green Project (or @Imagreenproject) is an initiative we launched since 2022. This project focuses on building a sustainable environment through seven key objectives pursued by IMAGE Travel, including internal management practices, promoting sustainable tourism products, and encouraging travelers to actively participate in nature conservation.

Our sustainability reports and policies highlight the concrete steps we take to integrate sustainability within our team, across our supply chain, and in the experiences we deliver to our clients.
